"I didn't follow school policy and got in trouble.. ReLiGiOuS dIsCrImInAtIoN!!!!"

What is it with the religious nutters that makes them always scream persecution? Also, what makes them think they can disregard rules, and receive special treatment because they believe in the Christian version of God? Every time I see something like this, they only got in trouble because they didn't follow rules, policy, or procedure. They simply threw a temper tantrum because "the gays" got to do something...

Human brain development is not complete until age 26.

and this is one perfect example why the voting age should be raised to 26.
So they should be able to go into the military and serve the country, but have no right to vote? They should be able to smoke, drink, and buy a gun, but have no right to vote?

Dumbest thing I have read today, and that's saying something. Congrats!

Principal Scott Butler, who is unable to comment on student discipline matters, did tell Yahoo Lifestyle in an email, “In general, when a student violates the Student Code of Conduct, there are consequences for those actions.”

When she arrived at the principal’s office, according to Gabby, he asked her why she hung the Bible verses. “And I said, ‘Because I wanted to spread the word of God.’ And [the principal] goes, ‘Well did you have permission?’ And I said, ‘No.’ I didn’t know you had to have permission.

These bible thumpers think that they can impose their beliefs everywhere they go and then scream persecution. How come we never hear of Muslim, Hindu or Jewish students doing this?
So take down the rainbow crap. Problem solved.

Or the student could follow the same rules they did to get the "rainbow crap" put up, and have her own posters? Too much work?

A rainbow flag is not the same thing as posting Bible verses/pages in a PUBLIC school. She also admittedly didn't have permission from the public school to post religious doctrine. Her goal of spreading "the word of God" means that she wanted to push religion in school. That is not allowed in public school. Being gay or supporting gay people is not the same thing as pushing a religion (regardless of the weirdo religious folks who think it is a religion lol)

Public schools should not have any sort of religious verses in the hallways posted up. Schools often fly flags. If this student wants a Christian flag or something they should ask to fly it or ask for the other flags to be taken down.

Lol, had to rep for that!

The snowflakes would have had a real quandary.

That said, high schools are not the place for any type of activism.

There are plenty of NSFW verses in the Bible that can and should get you some form of punishment in a school setting. What did she actually post?

Unless she posted this from a school computer what right does the school have to punish her for her posts. Every conservative student should go on that site and repost what she posted. Mass defiance is the only way to confront this stupidity. See if they have the guts to suspend 500 or a 1000 students. Time we conservatives just stop putting up with this.
