Wow, you are really behind on this story. All that has been debunked. The IG Report is due out in a couple of weeks and it's all about the FISA warrants. Trump will declassify everything which is why Demwits and their media masters are panicking.
Obama administration spying started long before Trump was the nominee and included other Repub candidates. You might want to watch this so you can keep up. Since your news is censored you will be unfamiliar with most of the people Papadopoulos mentions. You could always buy his book if you want more details.
No I am not behind, that's what actually happened and Trump can release the FISA if he wishes, although British Intelligence have told him it must be redacted, as they had previously warned the US of contacts between Russians that were under surveillance and numerous Trump campaign contacts, as had numerous other western intelligece agencies and the Australian High Commissioner had also warned US Authorities. If that's nopt enough to start an inveestigation then I don't know what is.
As for Trump releasing documents he has done so in the past and it has proven nothing, and it's laughable given at the same tme he is doing everything he can to keep his tax and company documents from being released and in order to stop associates going before congress.

Steele's stunning pre-FISA confession: Informant needed to air Trump dirt before election
Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Kathleen Kavalec’s written account of her Oct. 11, 2016, meeting with FBI informant Christopher Steele shows the Hillary Clinton campaign-funded British intelligence operative admitted that his research was political and facing an Election Day deadline.
And that confession occurred 10 days before the FBI used Steele’s now-discredited dossier to justify securing a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant to surveil former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page and the campaign’s ties to Russia.
Steele’s client “is keen to see this information come to light prior to November 8,” the date of the 2016 election...
Would that be anything like Trump's request to Russia? “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing." Prolly not, cuz that was politically motivated. LOL
I clearly did. That's not at odds with anything I posted.
Legally authorized surveillance is NOT spying. It's investigating and it happens all over the country every day.
Well, that's the $64,000 question, isn't it? Wonder why Democrats don't want to investigate?
That part is under dispute, there was a thread yesterday stating CIA spying was he trigger. You say it was the Steele dossier, FBI day it was Popadopulus loose lips to a diplomat, Director Ray stayed yesterday he has no evidence of “spying”.
All this is as clear as mud, no one has put together a time line of ALL parts to determine how they line up. And apparently no one wants Congress to find out either since The Executive is blocking witnesses that could clear it up some.
The Russia Hoax and Spygate books have a timeline. Papadopoulos wrote his own book but you can get a truncated timeline from him here. Maria Bartiromo's voice gets on my nerves and she constantly interrupts but you can scroll back if you miss a word or two
lol. Hmmm....the director of the FBI says the FBI didn't spy? Seriously?
Trump's made all kninds of wild and dangerous accusations, including repeating that GCHQ wire tapped him, something both GCHQ and the British PM Theresa May have both described as ridiculous.
At the end of the day the US has to ask itself is it worth putting intelligence and other relationships at risk for the sake of a President that was a fairly controversial figure even before he took office.
Well, that's the $64,000 question, isn't it? Wonder why Democrats don't want to investigate?
Isn't the IG investigating that? This investigation would take place within the DoJ, not in Congress.
