Barr is the president's personal conspiracy attorney.

If they "knew what they were doing was wrong" why are they still doing it?

They are corrupt. Let's hope that's the reason Burr called Jr. back. Gates is cooperating. Mueller spun-off investigations since it was outside his scope AND Mueller left the matter of obstruction open for future prosecution and/or Congress to act on the corruption. It seems like some GOP are willing to cover up crimes as long as it benefits them. It's no surprise folks are calling for Graham to resign. People willing to lose their integrity and credibility for this president AFTER DECADES of service is unbelievable.

Rick Scott was on the same Trump bandwagon as long as it benefits his campaign.

Florida Governor Says Russian Hackers Breached Two Counties In 2016

Quote:
Russian hackers breached the systems of two county elections systems in Florida in 2016, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said Tuesday at a press conference. DeSantis said that no data was tampered with and vote tallies were not affected.

In or around November 2016 and prior to the 2016 U.S. presidential election, KOVALEV and his co-conspirators used an email account designed to look like a Vendor 1 email address to send over 100 spearphishing emails to organizations and personnel involved in administering elections in numerous Florida counties. The spearphishing emails contained malware that the Conspirators embedded into Word documents bearing Vendor 1's logo.

To break into the Florida elections systems, the Russian hackers used a spearphishing campaign, where they used email addresses designed to look like a voting system vendor to trick the election officials into giving them access to their networks.

Last year, former Florida Sen. Bill Nelson warned that Russia had "penetrated" Florida's voter registration systems, but election officials denied that vehemently at the time.

Then-governor Rick Scott, who defeated Nelson in the Senate race, decried Nelson's claims and said they "only serve to erode public trust in our elections at a critical time."

Because it works and they believe they can get away with it.

We've see posts on this forum celebrating that defying subpoenas, committing perjury, suborning perjury, witness tampering, ... are all moot because Barr heads up the DOJ. He's ultimately responsible for prosecuting these crimes, and he's not going to do it.

What is going on with Lindsey Graham?

First, he admitted he didn't read the report, he considers it done.

Graham says he won't call Mueller to testify.

Then he says he would tell Jr. to break the law by ignoring a subpoena.

Now that #LindseyGrahamResign has been trending most of the day with over 25k tweets, he says he will back off the FISA investigation.

Some people considered Graham a fair and balanced GOP before Trump, now he is just a hack and puppet of this administration.

I'm not surprised by some of the people that've 'sold their souls' like Senator Graham fr'instance. Also not surprised by the smarmy Senator Paul et al.

I am surprised by Senator Susan Collins though, thought she was more trustworthy.

Regardless of what Susan Collins says, she toes the Republican line.
