<13=Younger child.
13=Premature teen.
14-15=Younger teen
16-17=Older teenager.
18=No longer a child at all, but not quite an adult.
19=You're officially closer to being an adult than you are to being a kid/borderline young adult.
20-24=Young adult.
25+=Full adult.

What the legal ages should be:

Age of consent=18
Gambling age=17
Drinking age=20 (not 21)
The legal age to be an adult=18-19
The legal age to get married=16 (if their parents approve)

Add to the list please.

Legal age to have, keep and raise a child - 25 with the requirement you have the means to take care of said child. I think we should sterilize every 12 year old then offer a free reversal procedure when they are 25 and have the means to support a child. Breeding should be a privilege not a right.

I swear you need a license for everything yet anyone whose plumbing works can have a kid.

I don't really know where you're headed with this thread but two things struck me about your legal age category:

1. 17 (older teenager according to your first paragraph) is too young to be legally gambling

2. By the time my husband was just under 21 he had spent three years in Vietnam, was home again and was still a couple of months away from the legal drinking age.

18. If youre old enough to die for your country you should be old enough to drink.

Females about 17, males about 25 which corresponds with reaching judgmental maturity.

Yup.

18 to drive, 18 to drink, 18 to vote, 18 to marry, 18 to serve your country, 18 to gamble ...

18 18 18 18 18 18.

If you are willing to die for corporate profiteers then you are not mature enough yet to drink or vote.

So did you go and have yourself sterilized (which by the way is not always reversible) or can you still breed like the rest of us trashy humans on the planet?

I personally have never been a breeder, I did not want to go and get the necessary documents and license etc. to breed a specific breed of dog or cat.
I have birthed 3 children and been pregnant 4 times though...
