"LGBT people made up 6 percent of the electorate in the midterms, and 82 percent of them cast their ballot for their district’s Democratic candidate for the House of Representatives, versus 17 percent for their district’s Republican House candidate. The exit poll also found LGBT voters supporting Democratic Senate and gubernatorial candidates in strong numbers."

The consistent thing about Bent is you can usually take his thread titles and assume the reverse is true.

82%

Wow.....I wasn't expecting that kind of a knockout. That's 500% more than the 17% who voted GOP.

About #WalkAway

[snip] The hashtag appeared to catch on overnight after securing endorsements by Donald Trump, Jr., and Sarah Palin. The former vice presidential candidate called Strata’s video, which has been viewed more than 500,000 times, a “must-watch.”
However, the nonpartisan German Marshall Fund claimed numerous Twitter users that had been fueling the campaign’s sudden surge in popularity were actually Russians posing as disgruntled liberals. At one time, its Hamilton 68 project—which tracks Kremlin-influenced hashtags—claimed #WalkAway was the seventh-most popular campaign among bot accounts.
The movement also came under fire when #WalkAway memes featuring testimonials from alleged former liberals appeared to be fake. The photos accompanying their statements were reportedly stock photos of anonymous people pulled from Shutterstock. [snap]

Is New York City's LGBTQ Center the Newest Safe Space for ***** Conservatives? | NewNowNext

Update: Shortly after this story’s publication, the Center released a statement officially canceling the #WalkAway event and extending “[deep] regret” for “the hurt and harm this booking has caused.” Read the full statement here.

Like the Old One said; If you stick a microphone under the snout of the man on the street, he'll be happy to oblige.

That statement isnt true.

More people identify as Democrats than Republicans or Independent.

Most states dont require party registration, but those people arent automatically independents.

Our entire family has made the switch from Independent to full on Democrat for the 2020 election. A lot of people in our immediate community are doing the same. We want the right wing thugs out!

Thank you, and your community for the effort to help get rid of them!

I keep hearing of all these walk away movements from the Democrat Party, yet I guarantee 90% of Gays, Blacks, and Jews will vote for any Democrat candidate. Hitler, or Stalin could run and they'd still vote for him if he were a Democrat.

This looks like more FAKE news to me. Why would a group vote against their best interest? We all know how Pence feels about GAYS. Perhaps he knows more about them than we think. I mean anyone who calls his wife “mother”has serious problems...

Brandon Straka, LGBTQ, opened the recent Trump rally in Cincinnati with a short rousing speech about his founding of the WalkAway movement, now half a million strong, of former Democrats who woke up and realized the media has been lying to them. Will you wake up, too?

Thats not even close to being true.

The only way you can get to a number where more people are independents than Democrats is if you claim all the people in states like Alabama are independents simply because there is no party registration here.
