Pence: Trump Is Being Attacked for Actions Biden "Bragged About"

HANNITY: Here you have -- and maybe you could put some context -- you are the vice president.

But former Vice President Biden bragging on tape that you’re not getting $1 billion. I will get (ph) -- in six hours -- and I’m leaving in six hours. You either fire the prosecutor. Why would a vice president want to fire a prosecutor? And son of a B, they fired him, bragging almost.

Why would a vice president of the United States of America want a Ukrainian prosecutor fired? What conceivable reason would that be?

PENCE: Yes, it’s -- it's really remarkable, that everything that the media wants to assume about the president's phone call in July, that Vice President Biden admitted to, on camera, in January of 2018, that he said that when he was vice president of the United States, he had a quid pro quo. He said to Ukrainian officials that you will not get over a billion dollars in American aid unless you fire a prosecutor who just happened to be investigating a company that Vice President Biden’s son was on the very board of.

Except the Ukrainian government already stated that there was no investigation being conducted against Hunter Biden or his company at the time Biden, in accordance with the official US policy and with the support of the EU and anti-corruption NGOs, pressured the Ukraine to jettison Shokin. That critical fact - which should be dispositive of the question of whether Biden had any personal interest in getting rid of Shokin - was of course not mentioned by Hannity or Pence because they like to intentionally mislead their mindless audience.

They continue to latch onto the president and his followers radical conspiracy theories with little or no proof.

The bolded part is a lie. The Ukrainian government already confirmed there was no such investigation at the time. Try again.

What did all the dems keep saying, "we have to know".

The Obama administration officially made the opposing party's campaign fair game for investigation, even with no credible evidence of wrongdoing.

Neither should Trump, right?

Problem is, he does have the kind of problem with it usually exhibited by the guilty and continual whining about Biden doesn't change that simple fact..

Yes ok. There is absolutely no corruption in the Ukrainian government and oil/energy companies.

Biden, the US, and the rest of the international community were pushing to have Shokin removed because he was intentionally failing to prosecute corruption in the Ukraine, including in the oil/gas industries. Although Hunter Biden's company was not being investigated at the time removing Shokin actually made it more likely that Biden's son would fall under the investigatory microscope, so the premise that Biden pressured to have him removed to help out his son is asinine.

Not remarkable at all. Donny said he WANTED the phone call released. Problem solved.

I suggest you go to a credible source and look at the details of Biden's son. The VP's son was on a board and did not discuss business with Biden--just told him. No conversations.

Now, we have the current President, who's self-entitled kiddies run his business going all over the world (and to the UN) and talking to governmental leaders, doing deals, obtaining exclusive trademarks from foreign governments for the Trump Org? That's ok?

And we also have the current President blackmailing the Ukraine government. There is nothing comparable about these situations.

This deserves jail time. Remember when that producer tried to extort Letterman? This is much much worse.

The Left lives by lies.

So it Trump didn't highlight this for the last 3 years but right after the whistle blower complaint he became interested in Biden's son, that's one helluva a coincidence.

Default Did anybody even know that Joe Biden had a son who was hired by a Ukrainian gas company? LOL

How come all of these strange and arcane things about Democrats are rarely revealed to the general public?

Isn't this supposed to be a Republican thing?
