Great question. If Trump is innocent, he has the authority to prove his innocence by either releasing the transcripts of the phone call, or releasing the whistleblower complaint.

I wish a Trump supporter could explain why Donald has done neither

Meanwhile, this keeps getting worse...

You guys still don't get it.

Dems in the House try to impeach......

Repubs in the Senate refuse.

Trump gains more free press and gets to play the victim, keeping Dems from addressing the issues.

Trump wins 2020.

And use their complaints about his dealings with the Ukraine as a vehicle to discuss Biden’s strongarm move over firing that prosecutor. I want to tell you, that recording of Biden’s own telling of his conversation threatening to pull aide made me a little ill. I want to know where the outrage is concerning that. After hearing that - his own words, mind you - I would never vote for Biden. He was so proud of himself for succeeding at that little stunt, too. Frankly, THAT should be investigated.

You guys don't think Trump halting foreign aid TWICE that Congress passed doesn't smell funny?

Why would he send Rudy his personal lawyer to contend with this?

If he really wanted to serve up the dems he would have by now.

As this rolls out the gop are going to start to turn.

Same thing happened with Watergate. Gop screamed fake news all the way until the end.
Are you just as outraged by Biden’s story? There is no speculation, based on his own telling of the event, that he strongarmed them using aid money already passed by Congress. Zero doubt it happened. You think that wasn’t a huge black eye? He was freaking bragging about it. I am still in shock at his pride during the little telling of the tale.

We screamed fake news for the three years it took to finish the Russia-gate probe and in the end...

Now its the Ukraine and a fresh batch of hearsay allegations that Trump is supposed to disprove.

This should be the response of anyone calling for Trump’s head based on outrage over this.

Do that and no head of state will ever trust the US to keep private 'spill your guts' conversations secret.
Then dems will want to impeach trump because he released the conversation and jeopardized America's relationship with world leaders.
