Wait. Doesn't the idiot Kamala know that AR-15s are made all over the USA?

Should read:

"Yes I agree....most politicians are clueless bought puppets."

let's not pretend this is somehow a US only phenomenon.

She apparently is too ignorant to know that AR-15s are made in this country-and that the import of "assault weapons" has been banned for 30 years (see Bush assault weapons import ban). But that works-her supporters are typically even more ignorant.
She's about dumb as she is ignorant, here's one of her quotes from the CNN article in the link above, which shows how incoherent her thinking is..

Quote:
"Those guns, those assault weapons, do not discriminate and determine, 'OK, is the person pointing it at, is it a Democrat or Republican.' "
Can somebody remind Harris that guns are inanimate objects and they do not think, nor act on behalf of whoever owns them?

Back when Rosie O'Donnell was in the media over her gun stance, some gun dealers were running "Rosie O'Donnell Specials" - I think principally AR-15's.

I think it's time some dealers run "Kamala Harris" High-cap mag specials. Heck, plaster her picture on every one

Yep, gun elimination one step at a time and when gun control laws fail to work, they'll try to pass stricter gun control laws until it becomes impossible for law-abiding Americans to be able to buy guns.

She said and it's in quotes in your link: Harris' new proposal "would ban AR-15-style assault weapon imports because they are not 'suitable for or readily adaptable to sporting purposes."

After Colt's patents expired in 1977, Colt retained the trademark and is the exclusive owner of "AR-15" designation. An expanded marketplace emerged with many manufacturers producing their own version of the AR-15 design for commercial sale.

There are manufactures of this style of rifle all over the globe.

Nevertheless, AR-15 style rifles have played a prominent role in many high-profile mass shootings in the United States and have come to be widely characterized as the weapon of choice for perpetrators of these crimes.
The AR15 is one of the best hunting rifles in use today. It's my favorite medium game gun.

This is my favorite anti gun political quote and shows the uselessness of having an intellectual debate.

"We have federal regulations and state laws that prohibit hunting ducks with more than three rounds. And yet it's legal to hunt humans with 15-round, 30-round, even 150-round magazines." - Dianne Feinstein

Car deaths and gun deaths are pretty close at around 40,000 year, but almost 22,000 of the gun deaths were suicides...should be music to a liberals ears.
My point is, banning guns is the same as banning cars, or certain kinds of cars. We could make everyone drive a foam stuffed Tupperware car with 15HP and a 25mph speed limit and ban everything else.

In all 50 states. Even CA. Parts anyway. The AR 15 may be the whipping boy for the left right now but the reality is it's here to stay just like the venerable M1 Garand. It is THE rifle right now. Most every serious shooter has at least one in their rack.

It has its own class at Camp Perry and is used in numerous other disciplines as well. Far from being the bullet hose instrument of death the looney left portrays it as it is highly accurate (to the point of true precision) and is also now used heavily for hunting. In a most effective manner.

So much for "sporting purposes" even if that did matter. Taking away peoples ARs would be like trying to take hot rodders small block Chevy's away. It's not about the AR type specifically anyway. It's about semi autos across the board.

Snatching up a whole class of firearms would make the wacko left mess themselves with joy. They don't understand firearms and shooting and understand shooters even less and so since we are not like them we must be forced to change. Be forcibly shown what's good for us.

We must be made to understand that we will be taken care of and that sacrifices must be made to achieve Nirvana. Personally, I'd rather stay down here in the mud.
