Because of immigration. First world countries need to have every woman have 2.1 children to have zero population growth. We're coming in at 1.88. If we had zero immigration, our population would be shrinking. Countries like Germany, Japan, South Korea, Italy, etc are already there. The median age of a Japanese person in 1965 was 23.6 years old; now it is 46.7. They had 300,000 more deaths than births last year and with only 50,000 migrants coming in, they are in serious population trouble.

Even though immigration has a significant impact on population, most of them will age out of the workforce and die, without having had replacement level births --- if this trend continues.

That is what the data gathered for the report, Immigrant and Native Fertility 2008 to 2017, reveals.

"Another reason that immigration may in the long term add to population aging is that for every major racial/ethnic group sending large numbers of immigrants, fertility is below the replacement level among the native-born generation.

In 2017, three-fourths of immigrant women in their reproductive years were either Hispanic or Asian. The TFR of native-born Hispanic women was 1.85 children and it was only 1.44 children for native-born Asians — both well below replacement level."

In the Bible it says to go forth and multiple. It seems no one in the world has paid to it any attention. Just saying ...

The developed western world has an extremely low fertility rate. So low that Europeans will eventually become extinct. The same applies to Japan.

Muslim men have 4 kids with each of their wives (up to four wives in some cases). The world of the future will be Islamic and I fear for women and the LGBTQIA people.
This is a lie, the fertility rate in most non-Sub-saharan African muslim countries is 1.5-3.5, and only Afghanistan and one or two other countries in the entire non-Sub Saharan African muslim world is higher than that. The future of the world, is much more likely going to be African- which will mean tons of Christians and tons of muslims, just like today.

So many liberal talking points are dead?

(1) Yang and some other democrats are wrong when they claim that automation is about to put millions out of work unlike any other moment in history to the point where we need Universal Basic Income.

(2) The New York Times and other liberals have claimed that an increase in population is damaging to the environment as it constrains resources, deforests, etc...

Population isn't going down worldwide or here in the United States yet - - so, yes, the environment is being damaged. How anyone could argue otherwise is pretty astounding.

Also, there is the very real fact that many jobs will becoming automated in the near future. The U.S. really has no need for unskilled laborers.
Exactly!

US population

1970 203,000,000
1980 226,545,000
1990 248.545,000
2000 281,421,000
2010 308,745,000
2019 328,915,000

That's an increase of 125 million just in my lifetime. I would say that is far more growth then just sustaining itself.
More undeniable truth.

Western youth culture discourages marriage, family and traditionalism. Instead of looking at the culture we are raising our kids in, just bring in ever more foreigners or more government spending. That makes a lot of sense.

Japan is a good example of a culture of infantilization. They have to pay people to hug them, and some men live in their bedrooms and never leave. What could be making a man feel fine about living in his room or parents basement, never having a relationship much less a family of his own.
