Yup! Pretty much up to the people it represents. Does the Redskins Mascot represent all tribes or just the ones that utilize head dresses? Like the link I posted, there are many people in various tribes that are fans and follow the Washington Red Skins, wherever they go. Even have teams that emulate the Washington Mascot.

So Indian mascots cause "Pain and Anguish"? Wow, I wonder what they would do with real adversity? Do the mascots chase people around with tomahawks and physically assault them? That's where the pain and anguish must come from.
