Well, seeing as how it hurts ESPN's ratings by dragging politics in when people go to them for sports.....they're either going to internalize it or enjoy externalizing it from the unemployment line.

I know he's commented on athletes and broadcasters interjecting politics into sports, but he was merely addressing what was already national news.
You must have missed that.
The whole Anthem debacle was mostly over with only a handful of athletes participating before he needed to rile up his base for an ego boost rather than do the actual work of running the country.
