lol Because of what the city council said. We are banning them because we dont like their politics. If you actually read even one article you'd know that.
Because government made the call on the ban in the first place. You didn't know that? lol It's in the article
"The San Antonio City Council decided in March to ban Chick-fil-A from the city’s airport because of the restaurant chain’s history of “anti-LGTBQ” comments and actions."
Those puppets are dangling from the strings of the unelected like marionettes:
PROTECTING EQUALITY IN AMERICA
WE’RE MONITORING ATTACKS ON LGBTQ RIGHTS, ACCESS TO REPRODUCTIVE HEALTHCARE, AND RELIGIOUS EQUALITY BY CHRISTIAN NATIONALISTS AND THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT
Quote:
In the 2018 alone, more than 70 Project Blitz-related bills—including measures that attack LGBTQ people, undermine access to reproductive healthcare, and attempt to inject religion into public schools—were introduced in state legislatures across the nation.
BlitzWatch is a campaign to monitor, track, and defeat attempts by Christian Nationalists to implement their distorted view of religious freedom.
Should cities make room for every food vendor who wants space in a taxpayer owned and run facility?
No, the city council should award contracts and space based on things like track record, financial benefit to the public, customer service and product demand instead of the screams of fringe SJWs and political agenda groups.

Even if the vendor is closed one day a week?
Don't get me wrong. My family goes to Chick fil A. They run a tight ship even if closed on Sunday. And, IMO, the city was stupid for wording their refusal that way.
But somewhere decisions have to be made.
I'm getting tired of the Great State of Texas overruling decisions made in our cities and towns and school districts. The bunch in Austin now does it with some regularity.

Since when does the political opinion of 1 person represent the basis of an 11-person legislative body's decision?
The voting is done the bill is going to the Gov. for a signature. Will you be there to see that ?
I'm not making assumptions about the basis for their decision to reject Chick-Fil-A, so I didn't have to be there.
It's the Texas GOP and members on this forum such as yourself who are making all of the assumptions.
