An article from a couple months ago. I guess I missed it back then.

In case you wondered what the principal target of the socialists is... you're it. Or more precisely, your money, your assets, whatever you might have saved to help your family, your prosperity etc.

Bill DeBlasio believes he knows better what to spend it on, than you do. And he's happy to use the power of government to take it from you, and spend it. Whether you like it or not.

BTW, the author got the Robin Hood part wrong.

The condensed version claims Robin Hood "stole from the rich and gave to the poor".

But do you know who he really "stole" from? Check out the various Robin Hood legends, not just a five-second sound byte.

Robin Hood took money from government tax collectors and treasury agents. And who did he give it to? The people the govt had taken it from in the first place. Farmers, cobblers, homebuilders, housewives etc. The people who actually worked to earn it.

Robin Hood was a conservative.

De Blasio: There’s plenty of money in NYC — it’s just in the wrong hands
By Yoav Gonen and Max Jaeger January 10, 2019 | 10:25pm | Updated

He’s Mayor Robin Hood.

Burnishing his progressive credentials, Mayor Bill de Blasio portrayed himself as a protector of the working class on Thursday — while proposing a redistribution of wealth — in his sixth State of the City address.

“Brothers and sisters, there’s plenty of money in the world. There’s plenty of money in this city. It’s just in the wrong hands,” said de Blasio, who owns two homes and collects $258,750 a year as mayor.

His wife has the money. Isn't two billion dollars missing from the charity she runs?

It's interesting that a characteristic of liberal government is that they seem to believe that all your money, time, and assets are theirs, to dispose of as they please.

Should it be?

I'd say that is a truism. If we aren't paying our way (the deficit is getting bigger...and is big already), it's a no-brainer. Obviously we aren't paying the bills, which means the money is in the wrong place (corporate tax cuts instead of paying our deficit lowers, etc.).

It's a simple truth and it's proven out. I wonder how people let words get in the way of basic math??? Whatever your stripes, you can surely see we are not paying the bills, right?

DeBlasio has a lot of money. Maybe we should take some of it out of his hands?

I bet he wouldn't like that.

It’s estimated that illegal immigration costs California alone $40 billion a year .

If the media actually spoke about this as much as they talk/lie about Trump being a Russian spy many even on the left would be a lot less illegal immigration friendly .

Think about how those billions could help American citizens . Also of course those killed by illegal aliens you can’t put a price on that .

The left doesn’t just want no border wall they want to abolish ICE too .
