Wow....................the left will start to squirm if this is ever enforced.
I will admit that I'm not a big fan of Trump going after those who do the immigrant thing the way they are supposed to as opposed to those who entice them to come here illegally but you look after your own I suppose.

Enforcing current laws is a first step, but the entire system needs to be reformed. Anecdotally, I have had many Asian students, whose elderly grandparents were sponsored and got housing vouchers and welfare payments. Among my younger students, it was the plan of all of them to come as students, then have a baby. They were all on WIC, but thought it was just normal and that all Americans were using such programs.

It is enforced. Try going to any of these bureaucratic offices without the correct and current documentation and you will be promptly shown the door. I have seen this in action.

Ok which is it?
On one hand the left says that the majority of illegals are VISA overstays. (When they are claiming border security is just fine).

On the other now you say that the VISA system is enforced.

NO enforcement is like where I live now. It is when you 100% must check in every 90 days. It is where you must provide proof of your residence,(they actually send immigration officers out at random to talk to your neighbors), proof income, and over stays are held accountable. By held accountable the fines are high and compounded daily. They will take your property, they will jail you and they will kick your illegal ass out of the country. They dont care if you own a house here or have children. They care that the VISA holder owner their end of the agreement.

The USA on the other hand. Remember that my wife was a legal immigrant so I know the somewhat, what is expected. The USA does not verify your residence. If they catch you in violation they might hold you accountable or they might just say shame on you. Our enforcement is weak at best.

I've never seen anyone claim that.
