Also, California is dead last in cost of doing business.

Top 7 infrastructures are conservative states.

To rank CNBC's 2019 America's Top States for Business, we put all 50 states through a rigorous test and graded them based on more than 60 measures of competitiveness in 10 broad categories. Each category is weighted according to how frequently states use them as a selling point in economic development marketing materials. That way, our study ranks the states based on the attributes they use to sell themselves.

By this definition, I'm considering states that voted for Obama in 2012 and Trump in 2016 as purple, even though I know that some of the red and blue states were close.

Top 10 Overall: 5 red, 4 blue, 1 purple
Top 10 for Workforce: 3 red, 7 blue
Top 10 for Economy: 7 red, 2 blue, 1 purple
Top 10 for Infrastructure: 8 red, 1 blue, 1 purple
Top 10 for Cost of Doing Business: 8 red, 2 purple
Top 10 for Quality of Life: 3 red, 7 blue
Top 10 for Education: 2 red, 6 blue, 2 purple

Interpret as you'd like.

I guess you also felt the need to not mention it was 1st in technology and innovation. Doesn't go with your narrative so let's be sure to be super biased and hope the dumb people won't actually read anything themselves.

The economies are strong here because of the people not because of the parties/government.

You can’t claim CA is not the biggest economy based on that
CA has larger economy than many countries

Just misrepresenting information to suit your political agenda

And the fact that the ranking uses the states’ own selling points to rank other states is using false methodology
Like asking parents which child is smarter—
Most times a parent is going to pick their child

What a misleading topic subject that you've written. The states are ranked by way of how they market themselves and not based on true economic numbers. I kind of feel embarrassed for you to be so easily misled.

Red states are less developed so they need less regulation and offer cheaper land and labor.

The problem comes when highways and suburban sprawl overtake your state leading to increased bureaucracy, corporate consolidation, and depleted resources hurting the economic structure.

It has nothing to do with conservative policy. Washington is a less developed state that is blue (compared to California) and also ranks higher for business.

Taxes and regulation come with increases in population.

If New Hampshire continues to develop, it will become just as miserable as New Jersey.

Small Businesses, Ice cream trucks, and other community forward businesses get destroyed like always.

Just wait till the liberals put an end to those evil corporations “making billions of dollars off the backs of hard working Americans”.

Happened much like you describe when the oil fracking boom hit South Dakota

California, great if your a millionaire, and don't mind paying more for everything. Texas, looks pretty good, by comparison.
