It's not vaccines, folks.

"Leveraging artificial intelligence techniques, researchers have demonstrated that mutations in so-called 'junk' DNA can cause autism. The study, published May 27 in Nature Genetics, is the first to functionally link such mutations to the neurodevelopmental condition."

Exposure to cannabis alters the genetic profile of sperm

Gotta wonder how many in those 2,000 "quartets" were users.

Given 1.2 x 10^-8 mutations per nucleotide per generation, you have to wonder what's causing the mutations.

I’m 66 and been in other countries - good food, bad food, smoke, drink, drugs, meds - water, air - sun - environment etc we still have special needs children. I am a gma to a trisomy 13 who passed at 7. Geneticist took sample etc etc and there was nothing he could say why the baby was born that way. We are not perfect and some just continue some gene that takes center stage. Like cancer. Some people stronger others weaker -and very little can do about it as we live in an imperfect world.

Can we determine who actually has autism and who is just a terrible child that was just given the label?
