so a wall is not analogous to a lock but a fence is? despite the fact that a wall and a fence do the same job, IE provide a barrier to prevent people from crossing int someplace, or leaving some place? me thinks you need to learn about barriers of all sorts.
What's xenophobic about protecting our borders from illegal entry and bogus asylum seekers while we still allow in 1 million legal immigrants a year? I won't hold my breath for a viable answer from the pro-illegal apologist in here though. Bet I won't get an answer from him/her.
Yes lets be honest the left wants open borders and chaos. They create magnet policies for illegals to enter. The great wall of Trump has been effective everywhere its in place !!!
Obama had 35 miles of the good walls built on the San Diego border and they were very effective in deterring illegal entry in that area. We need about 1,000 miles of those types of walls built on the most porous areas of the border and that is what Trump is trying to do.
Once again, the good walls in place already have made a serious dent in illegal entry. It's already been proven so why keep repeating the same old lies that they haven't? Trump hasn't built the 1,000 miles of wall he wants built because the Democrats in congress keep fighting him on this issue but he is making progress in building it in spite of them just not enough has been done yet. Until it gets built illegal aliens and bogus asylum seekers will continue to try to get into our country.
The courts and congress keep fighting him on this issue especially with the bogus asylum seekers. They know full and well if they can get into our country and claim asylum they will be released into our society as we have no more room to hold them and yet the apologists in here ask why it is happening under Trump???? WTH? Do they lack common sense?
Let's be honest... The wall is all about feeding the xenophobic MAGA base red meat, not fixing the illegal immigration problem, esp since plenty of red States benefit from their presence also.
Besides, he illegally usurped the power of the purse from Congress and a federal judge recently placed an injunction against using those funds.
