More corrupt than Nixon's administration. Not draining any swamp. He has a lot of "coined" terms, but they are just slogans and key words, not anything that is true.

I would love to see an intelligent answer to this question too. We can all agree or disagree on whether Obama was clean or swampy, it really doesn't matter anymore. But whatever you think of POTUS's from history, I'd love to have someone explain specifically how Trump has drained the swamp. Drain the swamp was a reference to getting big business, self-enriched, or other cronies out of US Politics. Let's hear how Trump has done on THAT issue, and on that issue alone, because that is the topic of this thread.

(WMak: I agree with your point.)

I guess there are different interpretations as to what "the swamp" is. I always took it to mean the life-long politicians who are more interested in securing their rule over the people and supporting their party over voting for the good of the country.

"The Swamp" means self-serving and corrupt politicians who are bought off by their donors.

Is the current Republican Congress and Trump "the swamp"? Absolutely, 100%. Proof: the only signature achievement they have was to shower the wealthy with tax cuts funded by the rest of us.

The Big Ugly Swamp gator was named Hillary.

Trump now has a pair of Gator boots that he props up on the big desk in the oval office.
The left boot is named Bill, the right boot is named Hill.

And the Swamp Rat named Obama crawled back in his hole proven wrong that Yes Trump would be a President too !!

And do more in 2 years than the swamp rat did in 8.

Good enough for me.

In the swamp there's a wizened little muppet named Joeda Biden who keeps muttering " Vote for me, you will." The other dem candidate Jawas seem to really dislike him.
