Obama was the same way. Just more polished about it. I have tied for his two worst lies/sneaky moves his 1) end-run around Congress to hide the unacceptable details of the Iran deal, and 2) his claim that you could keep your plan, your doctor, and save money in the process.
They know damned well it happened and he said what he said. It's gaslighting on their part. Pretend it never happened. Many of them, not all, but many LOVED it.

Precisely the point Trump was making. It's important to understand that at the time those statues were taken down, the only region of the country in favor of them coming down, was the Northeast.
Trump has been plenty critical of many who, like the kids said, got their tongues tangled up in their eyeteeth and couldn't see what they were saying.
He needs to understand as POTUS he speaks to all persuasions, levels of competency and emotional maturity.

If you think that "good people" march with torches, wave swastika flags, chant Nazi slogans, attack others... then we disagree on the definition of "good people."
