Raising taxes on farmers by 25% is insane and you defending it is amazing and exposes your partisanship.

You have a link to quote of me saying that or are you just inventing things out of thin air, as usual?

I’m willing to lose the export market for soybeans. If Big Ag suffers a little, so be it.
Isn't funny the same people wanting things like more corporate taxes and mandatory pay increases that will be passed on to consumers are bent out of shape the price of Chinese products will increase by what is essentially a tax?

You're short sighted and don't understand how this benefits us or even seem to understand trade deficits.
It isn't going to benefit us. I stated what is going to happen. Markets are going to fall, we then get political upheaval and everything changes.

Why?

Corporate taxes are not borne by the consumer. Corporate tax cuts are pure profit for the corporation. Tariffs are borne by the consumer. Learn how the market economy works.

No, the complaint is that prices are going to go up but wages will not.

Why? Fair treatment.

Why do you think China should be able to charge higher tarrifs on our imports than we charge on theirs?

Why should China be allowed to steal US IP?

Obviously you don't understand the most basics of accounting.

If you keep margins the same while increasing the cost of production, what happens to price?

If you're able to answer that basic question, the lightbulb might come on.
