Was there a single human being on the planet who thought "Chinese Mitch" (family is tied into billionaire Chinese dynasties) did what he did because it was right?

Having themselves completely disregarded many longstanding political norms, I fully expect that Republicans to howl in opposition to Democrats disregarding other longstanding political norms when they come into power.

The one-upmanship of power-grabs by both sides is not good for the country and I strongly believe that it is only leading to more political animosity to our great detriment, but the Democrats will be fully justified in exacting revenge on the GOP when the time comes. Its just awful.

McConnell is the most powerful politician in the country. Not only is he more powerful than Trump but he is also much smarter. He is evil. Hopefully Kentucky can find a way to vote him out but I am sure he will gerrymander something to get elected again.

How do you gerrymander a Senate race?

No this was the Biden Rule supposedly, no one with half a brain actually believed McConnell or any of the republicans actually listened to Biden but that was the best they could come up with. This just confirms that it was total BS.

He is a senator, there can be no gerrymandering. He is voted on by the entire state, just like every other senator.

We really, really need to improve Civics education in this country. Really.

That aside, Kentucky is blood red, the only way he is going is if he gets primaried. We’ll find out whether or not a Democrat will ever again have a chance in the state again, other than locally, with the Governor’s race this fall. If Matt Bevins, the most hated Governor in the nation can’t lose, no Republican can.
