Read the rules then decide if you want to compete.

Simple.

You're probably safe in gymnastics. With scoring leeway and the amount of skill required it's not just something a guy can pick up quick.

The problem is with sports where just sheer size and a degree of athleticism can make you automatically very very good. Track is the obvious one. Volleyball, basketball, womens wrestling, weight lifting of course....the list goes on...fencing.

I have also not yet seen anyone mention the inevitable. Foreign trans men.

1) Opens up the numbers to a huge level.
2) Easy peasy visa due to oppression in home country probably being easy to prove.
3) Typically much more financially motivated etc.

Basically Juan from Brazil who is a decent male soccer player and is trans....booom. NCAA 1st team all-american and full ride at Standford.

Oh and any complaints are shouted down by the facists that have gotten so open minded...that they flipped over to "right think" and are as mentally ugly as any skin-head.

I write this and I'm pro LGBT, got no problem with trans whatsoever...but this is brutally unfair to womens sports and those gender separations were put there for a reason.

Really?

Because with Title 9 they have to be equal and there are a ton of guys on a football team even if they aren't all on scholarship.

So mens and womens basketball counters each other.

That means there has to be a *Buttload* of female scholarships beyond volleyball to balance out mens football.

He said trampolining. That's a power sport. The girls will lose going head to head with guys. An example:

And what a proud accomplishment that will be. I guess they just couldn't cut it against other men.

Who cares? With the exception of ice skating, gymnastics and tennis no one watches women’s sports.

Do you actually think someone would get their penis whacked off just to compete against lesser competition?

Scholarship availability is set by the various sports associations. For example in NCAA Div 1 womens track & field the limit is 18. However what happens is those 18 scholarships are divided up for most of the team. Not sure how many make up a women's track team and how many can be given scholarships. But if a school issues a full ride, then one less athlete gets a partial, which rarely happens.

In most cases if you hear of someone in the sports getting a full ride other then what I originally mentioned it is because they are getting a combo of athletic and academic scholarships.
