Please, New York and New Mexico (both pro choice and with viable film industries) are both waiting in the wings. Toronto and Vancouver as well....
Remember how hard states/cities were lobbying for Delta's HQ when Casey Cagle took away their tax credits for ending their NRA discounts?
With the film boycott, the same thing will happen x1000. And since these film companies aren't home grown in Georgia like Delta, they have very little reason to stay.
Why weren't those same women thinking with those minds while engaging in unprotected sex? I believe there are instances when there is a reason to have an abortion - but being in the medical field for over 30 yrs - I've seen too many women who used the procedure multiple times as their method of birth control and that is not acceptable. To end a baby's life because you don't use the free contraception available - because yes - the majority had free healthcare thanks to the US taxpayers. These are the selfish, ignorant people that should have been sterilized.
what exactly did you do 'in the medical field" for 30 years to know women use abortions as birth control? what do you know about men who will not use condoms?

Well let's see... It's cold as hell in NY and Toronto at least half the year which would really cut into production time you could film. The costs of Union Labor is many states would probably drive up the costs quite a lot.
Can't believe anyone would go to the Northeast or even CA to do much regular Filming now due the high costs and the taxes.
There are reasons they go to low COL areas like Georgia. Economic reasons.

The Film Industry was flocking to Michigan in droves until their awful Governor at the time cut most of the incentives.

Do you realize how much filming is done in New Mexico these days? And New Yorks film industry and television industry have seen massive growth thanks to tax incentives the state of New York has started offering to attract the industry back.
Iger issued his warning to Georgia ahead of the dedication for a new Star Wars section at Disneyland. It is unclear whether Iger, whose company owns the Star Wars franchise, knows that Star Wars: The Force Awakens, a 2015 movie that Disney distributed, was filmed in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, which outlaws all abortions except when the mother's life is at risk or when the baby has a fatal "abnormality." Even in those situations, doctors can only perform abortions within 120 days of pregnancy.
Disney has recently filmed in other countries with strict laws against abortion. Part of the 2019 film Aladdin, which Disney produced, was shot in Jordan. The Jordanian penal code criminalizes abortion. The only exceptions are fetal impairment, when the mother's life is in danger, and other, limited circumstances to protect her physical and mental health. Otherwise, the mothers—not just the doctors—can be imprisoned.
