This is the direct quote:

"Neither I nor you get to tell any woman that abortion is "wrong". That is up to her to decide"

So yes, poster was telling other poster that his free speech should be restricted.

idk, I just know that was the issue with Obamacare ... plan choices, dr choices and the choice not to buy insurance. They found a possible loop hole that would help suit their needs.

Unwanted babies, babies being found in the trash, women dying from back alley abortions, more children living in single parent households, more men moaning and groaning about having to pay child support, more people moaning and groaning about food stamps, medicaid and welfare.

Now you admit that contraception can fail even when used consistently and correctly.

"Abortion for everyone"? No, the option to choose for everyone.

"Free speech" as in the First Amendment to the US Constitution keeps the US government from being able to throw you in prison for what you say, and there are limits. You cannot incite a riot or make terroristic threats, for example.

https://constitution.findlaw.com/amendment1.html

Freedom of speech does not allow you to say anything you want to anyone you want to. Are you familiar with the terms libel and slander?

If you feel abortion is "wrong" you are entitled to your opinion. You do not get to insist that someone else is "wrong" just because she disagrees with your opinion.

My doctor tried to trip me up, put me on the weakest birth control ever. I knew something was wrong because my monthly kept flowing even after I started my new pack of pills. I went back and demanded to be put back on something stronger. I guess they figured I should have a child or two by now , trying to mess me up!! Good thing I use condoms for backup or I would have got pregnant when they had me on that crappy pill.

IF abortion were banned, you don't see anyone changing their behaviors that could lead to unwanted pregnancy?

People don't want abortions, they don't want the pill, and they make you jump through hoops just to get your tubes "tied". SMDH they just want women to be baby factories, popping out a baby every ten months like they did way back in the day. Who in the world can afford one baby, let alone ten? These people are crazy. They need to take a seat in the corner and mind their own business and stop telling women to close their legs. If women close their legs, who are these so called men going to have sex with? Each other, I guess.

Prolife men are married to prolife women. So the whole how did you put it ... "close your legs" scenario?

Doesn't apply. /shrug?

Still amazes me that people SERIOUSLY don't understand how being prolife works.

I certainly didn't 'raise' my teens the same as my parents raised me, nor did I forge the same path as them ... neither do those that come from us. That is how social evolution happens, new generations with different ideas.

Teen pregnancy as well as abortions have declined and there is an accounting for that. One account is abstinence. The teens today have different ideas on what is important to them. Sexual intercourse, that will yield them STDs, HIV, and babies is not a part of their choices.

I guess one could say that those collecting the stats data on abortions, pregnancy and surveys are all lying, but there really doesn't seem to be an up tick on that sort of a conspiracy. Or is there? idk

I hear teens, 14, 15, 16, 17 talk about having sex all the time.
Teen pregnancy and teen abortions are declining due to education and access to bc, not abstinence. One thing I have notice that has not changed is the teen mind and hormonal drive.

Collecting stats on abortion and pregnancy is done through medical records and personal interviews. Any statistics derived through an anonymous vague self survey I will question.
Well if you don't believe them there isn't a damn thing anyone can do about that. But the surveys say, fewer teens are having sexual intercourse ---- believe it or not, the choice is all yours.

There is a decline in pregnancies and abortions among women of all ages ... I have not reason to doubt the teens answers concerning abstinence.

Sexually transmitted diseases are at an all time high (again). But why?
"A recent study actually found that teens are waiting longer to have sexual intercourse, and are more likely to use contraception. This is slightly misleading, since an increase in oral sex—and a lack of thorough sex-ed to teach young people that protection is also needed during these sort of encounters—could help STIs keep spreading. But still, doctors don't think individual behaviors are to blame for these upticks."

Intercourse?
POTUS Bill Clinton, redefined oral sex as just kissing ...

Nope, just look at drugs. They're illegal and tons of people still do them.

Or prohibition, when alcohol was illegal tons of people still drank, all it did was drive up organized crime.

End story, you can't legislate morality
