not if abortions are banned.
one benefit will be women will die of complications from botched abortions and no medical care, and the women haters will rule. there will be more poverty and children will grow up in a cycle of poverty. more women and children on welfare, which will be cut off for them, so they will die. maybe this is a plan to rid US of poverty by letting women and their children all die.

There are two sides of the coin.
A situation incapable of supporting a child can not only victimize the child but take away from society (contribution to crime, poverty), parental figures, and welfare.
The painful decision to abort a pregnancy can be also seen as taking care of responsibility. With that option should also be education and easy access to birth control to avoid future unwanted pregnancies.
This reminds me of abstinence movement a while back. Take away access to birth control and ignore the issues were suppose to be the solution to teenage pregnancy. That didn't work too well either.

You can't force people to act the way you want, drug prohibition and alcohol prohibition should be ample evidence of that....
