Is this where certain posters work feverishly to imagine a scenario - any scenario - where the person with the Blessed Firearm must have some sort of justification?
Anyway, Brandishing Bertie got her charming rear fired and I'm sure that those few seconds of feeling in control were totes worth it.
Anyway, using the legal system to nail someone like this really is using a 2 x 4 to swat flies. She lost her job and the Internet will not let her forget her silliness. Private powertrip, public humiliation. Almost Biblical.
Well, we can wait one day or one week - but this kind of stuff happens all too often - and disproportionately to African Americans. Don't overthink it.
We're talking about this specific event. I appreciate that you're taking a wait and see approach, we've had far too many cases where either the video takers or the cops have run in front of the media to seize and shape the initial narrative.
I'm not overthinking anything, we don't have enough information to do that.

In every one of these ___________________while black we see a snip of cell phone video. The "victim" is always yelling, agitated, uncooperative and intimidating if not outright threatening.
We never see the entire interaction or hear the entire communication. While the woman should not have pulled a gun we dont know she was not scared or felt threatened. An old woman alone out in BFE, a couple much younger couple confronting and arguing with her.
We dont know if she has had prior problems.
Maybe she is crazy, maybe she is racist or maybe she was scared. Maybe the couple was being discriminated against, maybe they were being harassed or maybe they were aggressive and threatening.
Thats why I like to wait for the rest of the story before making a judgement.
There is no doubt more to this story. You just don't walk onto campground grounds looking for a picnic site unless you are there to visit someone, you go into the office and PAY for a site if they have any. I guarantee you there was a problem with this couple when they were asked to leave and it led to this.
