Maybe. We don't have records that go back 10,000 years to verify whether or not the change is part of a long climatic cycle.

What never gets brought up is that much of this "change" is brought about by pollution levels in places like India and China and other emerging nations that couldn't care less how it affects everyone else.

The left can't see beyond blaming the United States for everything. If the rest of the world was as clean as the U.S. there wouldn't be a climate problem.

This is absolutely crazy, I didn't realize this was still going on and could last into next year.

OMAHA — Flooding along the Missouri River has stretched on for seven months in places and could endure through the winter, leaving some Upper Midwest farmland and possibly some homes encased in ice.

There are several reasons for the flooding, including high levels along the river, saturated ground and broken levees. And with forecasters predicting a wetter-than-normal winter, it's possible the flooding could continue in some places all the way until spring, when the normal flood season begins.

It's understandable why some people are slow to accept climate change. It's an abstract concept.
But when it slaps you hard in the face, you better pay attention.
That's interesting, water on the ground where it isn't usually found. Hmm, seems like I remember such events being mentioned before. Let's see........oh yes, they are called "floods".
