You don't give the common man much credit do you?

No, unlike pompous leftists who despise/characterize anything that isn't like them as unintelligent or unworthy, I just don't look down on people for their lexicon.

I also note that President Trump doesn't attack others first, but will fight back (unlike most Republicans) with force when attacked. Dems just aren't used to a Republican taking them to task like this. They are used to the "lose nobly" kind of Republican like Romney and McCain. Of course, the "lose nobly" GOPers now suddenly find voice to attack President Trump, when they were largely silent (relatively speaking) when the left attacked them savagely when they ran for president, etc.

1) Donald Trump took advantage of what the law allowed him to do regarding Vietnam. Also, while I honor the service of the men who fought in Vietnam, I will criticize no man who got out of that unjustified war. We were lied to by politicians about Vietnam (LBJ literally stood on camera and lied about the Gulf of Tonkin incident when he knew reporting and intelligence did not support what he was saying) and it was inherently an unjust war.

2) Why are Gold Star families off limits to political attacks? If you choose to engage in partisan attacks like the Khan Family did, you cannot then decide to hide behind your status as Gold Star families.

The fact you didn't see it -- doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
Oh, thank you for that bit of information. I've personally never seen him treat the military with an iota of respect. Further, I've never heard of him giving condolences to the many many policemen who were murdered by African American men. That alone speaks to his watch.

Cadet bone spurs will always be a disgrace to our military. No amount of money or talk can change that. Hearing him talk about service, honor and bravery is like Jeffery Dahmer having a cooking show.

Here is an excellent analysis of the Kahn incident

How Donald Trump can look any American service person in the eye after his daddy paid to get him out of serving shows the kind of scum he is. They served, many were wounded and many lost their lives, while he was chasing women in college.

They should all spit on this man when he has the gall to try to now be someone who cares about them.

Did he tell them to prepare to die like Pence did?
