What I see is a game if chicken where Republicans are hoping to get a "WIN" before another Citizens United or Patriot Act comes along and takes more from the citizens of the country. Is that the plan?

Well … because they're un-American and have no faith in an impartial judiciary, because they secretly know their goals are unjust and wrong?

Now that more of these un-American actions by Republicans - like the gerrymandering you mention - become known, it's becoming clear how widespread their self-serving unethical actions are.
