I tuned in to CNN and MSNBC earlier and their main concern was “what type of rifle was it? We know one weapon was semi automatic handgun, but we’re still waiting to find out about the rifle!”.

I think Liberal media is looking for an AR15.

The media is trying to determine the facts. That can be confusing to some.

What usually stops a gun attack?

Other people showing up with guns.

Most likely, this maniac turned his gun on himself when he knew the cops, with their guns, were about to arrive.

Very, very few murders are committed by people using any rifle, including the AR-15, but the Media wants to disarm the law abiding, and that is the current bogey man, err, bogey gun. Because guns kill by themselves, right?

I don't understand how people can't comprehend gun free zones only protect the criminals.
Gun free zones have worked well on airplanes.

The US has the loosest gun laws and the most homicide deaths in the western world. I see a correlation, don't you?

Yeah giving everyone a gun does not stop gun violence except in the minds of the delusional.

im 63 have had no use or a desire for a weapon of any kind in all these years..i live in the city and guess what there are places i just don't go...as i am no expert i don't have an answer to which gun laws are needed and i also would think years would be needed to get a grip on the gun issue..talking mental health with people who think health care is a privilege doesn't seem to be an answer although it could also be part of the solution..but even a casual observer might wince at the unrestricted sale of weaponry...
easily cross-able state lines also make nation wide answers harder

Cultural? Yeah, the obsessive gun culture where people care more about clinging to their guns than anything else.
