The Democratic mayor Eric Garcetti refused comment on the news station's questions.

Symptons of medieval disease worsening quickly in downtown LA include high fevers and excruciating headaches.

Supposedly, this is caused by the armies of rats in downtown LA from the massive homeless crisis that the Democrats are dismissive about.

https://www.cdc.gov/typhus/healthcar...ers/index.html

Downtown LA office workers are fearful of getting typhus and for good reason its a disease of the medieval ages caused by filth that has made a sudden come back to LA recently.

Looks like even office workers are getting typhus now because of the piles of garbage are causing fleas to live on the enormous rats that the taking over.

Despite, millions spent on the typhus zone which includes downtown LA looks like the enormous rats are feeding on the trash caused by tens of thousands of homeless living on the streets.

Looks like they plan on just ignoring this homeless crisis in their city. They have raised taxes constantly in the name of the homeless issue but it will mainly be wasted.

The city has a responsibility to do a major clean-up. Typhus outbreak? When is their city council going to do something to help fix this?

La and California needs to address their housing issues as well as the homeless problem. Maybe if they cared as much about their homeless as they do illegals this problem wouldn't be as bad.

Not a surprise. LA has high population density, lots of homeless, and a year-round hot climate. It's rat heaven there.

I'm amazed the bubonic plague hasn't been an issue there yet.

They love having overinflated housing costs in L.A where even crap shacks cost half a million dollars. This is one of the ramifications of having outrageous housing prices.

Better try cleaning up your backyard first OP.

"Texas continues to see a rise in typhus cases, a troubling trend for the flea-borne, occasionally fatal disease once thought to have been wiped out in most of the United States.

The Texas health department reports there were 519 cases of typhus in 2017, more than three times the number in 2010. The uptick represents the fourth consecutive year that the number has increased."

I don't live in Houston but I would not surprised that they have had the same issue with rampant typhus going around as it is a heavily Democratic city.

To Houston credit though it has a far, far lower homeless population per-capita than LA.

Typhoid is maintly caused through dirty untreated water.

Typhoid fever is now rare in developed nations due to typhoid vaccinations and advances in public sanitation and hygiene coupled with the chlorination of drinking water.

Rats carried infected fleas which passed on bubonic plague to humans, the plague was known as the Black Death in Medieval times.

Bubonic plague - Wikipedia

Rat's urine can also carry Leptospirosis also known as Weil's disease.
