Biden will try to out Commie all the others with the free stuff mantra.
He may do that during the primaries but there will be a shift if he wins the nomination. That won't happen though, as the other candidates get pared down his lead over other Democrats will evaporate as support for them shifts to Sanders or other candidates. He will not win the nomination IMO, Trump for the general election win over a far left canidate.
I only vote straight Republican and I consider the night Trump won to be one of the happiest days of my life. Yet if Joe Biden is the Dem nominee there is something he could do to win my vote.
Trump has been bashing Joe Biden for his support of the 1994 crime bill. This is very disappointing to me. If Biden says he is proud of the 1994 crime bill and would continue tough on crime policies like that I would proudly vote for him.
Of course that's not going to happen. Biden will apologize, say it was a mistake and that he has now evolved ro support comprehensive criminal justice reform. I will then have no one to vote for. It will be one criminal lover vs another.
I can't imagine a better example of cutting off your nose to spite your face. There's so much more to consider than the 1994 crime bill in determining your vote.
That said, I too am puzzled by Trump's stance on this. Do you know what his beef with it is? Sounds like it might be just political pandering.
