No it DOESN'T. Claws grow FROM THE BONE, and no amount of denial on your part is going to change that FACT.

Declawing involves amputation of the 3rd phalanx bone of each toe. Cats are digitigrade, which means they walk on their toes. Ergo, declawing changes the length of each toe, which in turn changes the way the cat stands, balances, walks and runs. Again, no am out of denial on your part is going to change that scientific, anatomical FACT.
