I think a straight pride parade is a good idea as long as it is to celebrate being straight and not intended to be anti-LGBTQ.
Can you elaborate on how one would "celebrate being straight"? What is there to celebrate, the civil rights previously unafforded to straight people on the basis of being straight? Or the fact that the world is more tolerant of male/female romantic partnerships than it used to be? The eradication of anti-penis-in-vagina intercourse laws? The growing acceptance of male-female partnerships raising children?
The LGBTQZ4 pride parades are so over the top it's ridiculous. It's essentially soft core porn shoved in your face and if you don't like it then your just an intolerant "phobe"
In a sense, tho, I can't imagine myself or someone (or anyone) like me ever having the desire to make such a sign or sling such a slogan.
I welcome anyone protesting about anything, but that certainly doesn't mean I can't joke and laugh about any or all of it.
Exactly. And that's been the main point of my replies in this thread. But they also took a little jab at the hypocrisy I see pretty regularly on all sorts of different topics.

Which parades are you going to? All of the ones I have been to are nothing like soft core porn, more like a parade of businesses with a lot of rainbows and glitter.
How can a parade be "shoved in your face" if you don't attend? You think you'd stop attending them if you hated them so much. Hmmmm.....Mike Pence, is that you posting?
