Look, this ain’t racial. Americans are getting seriously wound the hell up like ticking time bombs nowadays, and no group or demographic seems to be immune to going into a rage.
Let’s just acknowledge this as Americans before we start pointing fingers.
I'm not convinced this is the case beyond an politically driven meme.
If this is indeed the case then you and others should be showing us increases in per capita crimes like assault etc. instead of anecdotal videos.
No one is tracking the National demographics of poor behaviors in fast food places.
If it's a representative trend caused by what people claim then it should be showing up broadly in increased arrests for assault, distrubing the piece etc.
In fact, that's the claim going on...that people are widely upset and then they attempt to support that claim with some news articles about fights or whatnot at McDonalds which is basically a claim that it's representative of the broader ongoing issue.
Okay, maybe that one fight. My point is this. You seldom ever here of this at Chick-Fil-A. McDonalds is often the main fast food place where fights and stupidity take place.

Chick Fil also has substantially more limited hours than most McDonalds.
Restaurants with late or 24/7 hours tend to have more customers who are under the influence who behave poorly.
All Waffle Houses are Open 24/7 x 365. No shortage of whacked- out customers flow through their doors and some trend violent. Diff is there are only 1100 WF and most do not have a drive through window.

True story- I went to a chicken joint years ago, they were out of chicken. They offered me salad. I really wanted chicken. I think i laughed and went to hinky dinky and got some liver
And alot of people with severe anger problems. And persons who don't think "I might go to jail if I do this". Some don't care if they go to prison. I'll admit it. I have a short temper and lack of patience. I've gotten really angry about the public transportation system in the Atlanta area being rather dysfunctional. I have not pointed a gun at anyone. I have never picked a fight with the bus drivers. I might curse, but I don't go fighting. I don't fight in public establishments either. I understand that it's not worth going to prison for.
Sounds like you have developed the skill of impulse control and have an appreciation that actions have consequences.I also suspect you are not under the influence of a substance when using public transportation.

Yeah, you bring up an excellent point about being open late at night when the people are drunk, high and watnot.
First this story...a woman gets mad about her chicken sandwich missing a few condiments (she ordered at the drive through), walks inside and demands a refund. She gets the refund and STILL demands another chicken sandwich. When told that she’s been refunded, she goes behind the counter in an attempt to make her own sandwich and manages to slap the hell out of one of the servers... who was pregnant!
Then another yahoo gets mad about being asked for his receipt for a coffee order...and decides to throw freshly brewed coffee in the face of the McDonald’s employee...first degree burns on face and neck.

What the hell is wrong with people nowadays? Geez...Americans are waaaaay too fricken wound up!!
Too many people feeling like they have little to no control over other aspects of their lives so they lash out at the easiest targets.
Can't change the amount of the last electric bill or talk their employer into a raise, but they can "stand up" to the hapless fast food workers that everyone knows aren't really human anyway.
So many things could be unpacked here, but suffice it to say, this is what happens when one segment of society is constantly demeaned as "just" something to the extent that they are perceived as serfs or worse and too many others are convinced that money buys any privilege, including the right to assault.
