So it seems like some blacks, like Palestinians, are into demographic warfare.
That's not what Desert said. At all. YOU are the one who said that this politician is "pro-life for wrong racist reasons." All that tells me, I'm not a person of color but I am a person who thinks about Roe, wonders about it, questions it, still thinks it should be law ...but what it tells me about YOU is that you are not thinking about the zygote/embryo/fetus at all.

ONe of the sponsors of the fetal heartbeat bill in Louisiana is black Democrat Katrina Jackson from a majority black district. She called abortion genocide and said that it diminishes the black population and hence reduces black political power. In this article she's quoted as mentioning "our race's power".

I guess if Roe vs Wade is repealed, there WILL be more blacks and Hispanics in the US and if current trends continue banning abortion will actually increase Democrat power since so many blacks and Hispanics are conditioned to vote Democrat.

So I'm glad she's pro-life but for the wrong reasons. But then racial based politics is a staple for Democrats though.
And here we have it folks. The perfect example of cons not give a crap of the actual baby when born. In this case, because the babies are black.

Yep, the same as those creating laws against procreating with any other than their own.

Going with the genocidal view, that technically would apply to all races. Of course, a person just had to use the "poor Black people" card.

Well she's right and I applaud her or any politician doing what's best for their people.

They are just using black women as political pawns to further their anti-choice agenda.

African-Americans have abortions at a much greater percentage than their overall population

The best way to change that is to make it easier for them to lift themselves out of poverty.

Forcing black women to have children they do not want is not one of those ways.

LOL that you are judging her reasons.

FWIW her reasons for being against abortion is the MAIN reason that most black Americans who are pro-life are against it. You always crack me up with your comments about black people. It is interesting to me that you feel that you have some sort of moral high ground over black people or some faux paternalism that makes you some sort of person that we should consult with before creating and sharing our own thoughts.

And FWIW I don't agree with her reasons at all and I am pro-choice but I can respect the POV because I understand where it is coming from and the history around it since I'm not ignorant about common black thought on the topic of abortion services and how it relates to our history as a demographic.
