I thought they are the party of ethnic minorities? Of young people? The future is female, I thought?

Biden and Sanders have over 80% of the total support.

You can win if you're like Trump, old, white and most of all not an experienced politician. Maybe Democrats won't catch on to the last part of that.

Its the deep state vs the outsider Trump. So you have two old timers entrenched in party politics going up against the usurper Trump. The stooge they HAD wanted, Cory Booker, who was to be another Obama style flunky, he's fallen flat on his face and they've pretty much given up on him. Mayor Pete, sort of the same way. The problem the left has is that if they run an anti government/ anti America radical, then they run the risk of the base actually wanting those promises they make to be kept and that spells trouble for the deep state. Warren, Harris, there's no way the puppet masters will let a woman be POTUS. They didn't let Hillary win the 2008 primary and they didn't let her win in 2016.

Some might argue that Sanders, who is Jewish, is NOT "white" (which is a meaningless word) and IS part of a minority.

Trust me, the anger most liberals have towards white men definitely includes Jeeish white men.

I’m a democrat that won’t vote for Biden or Sanders. They are both too damned OLD to run a country, just as tRump is. Why Biden has the edge at the moment escapes me.
