He is the President..talking to the citizens on a national holiday is hardly scandalous..
He seeks to talk to the people..why do libs have an issue with that?

I think that folks have trouble with changing traditions.
I think folks like the location that has been used and don't want to see it changed.
One of the things that makes America great again is a President that doesn't give a hoot what the democrats want him to do. He makes his own decisions knowing they won't act in his best interest or the best interest of the American people !!!
Trump puts America first !!! Democrats put the rest of the world first, wants America to pay for them and we see it everyday. Trump couldn't do as much damage to democrats as what they are doing to themselves. The democrats best days are behind them !!!
Using the 4th for political gain doesn't make America great, besides the fact that we were already pretty great. Trump doesn't care about anyone but himself, he couldn't even stop tweeting after the D-Day celebration. He made a great speech and then digressed into criticizing Mueller and Pelosi with the cemetery in the background, I expect he would use the 4th to even divide us more.
Past presidents have stayed out of the limelight, instead leaving it as an apolitical peoples’s celebration.
I hate seeing something we all agree on, our love of America, turned into a political rally.
