Not on July 4, they didn't.

JFK also had poet Robert Frost speaking at his inaugural, and live classical music at White House banquets.

Trump has hamberders and Faux News for background ambience.

Kennedy's famous "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country" was part of his inaugural speech.

Can you imagine those words coming from Trump's mouth, and keeping a straight face as you hear them?

Can you imagine the Democrat party echoing these words today?

not in Obama’s case. he litters every speech with hundreds of ‘I’ and ‘me’ references.

congress just signed off on $5 billion for migrants.

Do you think he meant free everything like todays dems really.I respected Kennedy and even had the pleasure to shake his hand. You have no clue who he was or what he stood for.You should be ashamed of yourself trying to pull that crap.Trump is actually taking Kennedys advice by leaving his private life and doing for His country.

Exactly. That Kennedy quote is the antithesis of what the Democrats are calling for today.

Now who has more credibility? The man who led the D-day invasion? Or the man who dodged the draft with an ingrown toenail?

No one had a military parade on Independence Day. This is our day to celebrate. We don't need a president who seems to think this is his day to celebrate himself. Have you ever been to DC for the fireworks. It is well organized. Trump changing things puts a burden on security. Plus, why do taxpayers have to pay for stroking his ego. Faux outrage, I don't thing so.
