Of course there is a difference. How a person appropriately addresses an audience is very much dependent on the occasion. Trump has demonstrated time and time again his lack of understanding of this very basic principle.
not in Obama’s case. he litters every speech with hundreds of ‘I’ and ‘me’ references.
It's not the end of the world, but the fact that 90 million dollars is being wasted on a Trump fest is pretty stunning. That 90 million could go toward helping a lot of people, namely the migrant children at the border who aren't getting bathed, fed and cared for properly.
congress just signed off on $5 billion for migrants.
Kennedy's famous "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country" was part of his inaugural speech.
Can you imagine those words coming from Trump's mouth, and keeping a straight face as you hear them?
Do you think he meant free everything like todays dems really.I respected Kennedy and even had the pleasure to shake his hand. You have no clue who he was or what he stood for.You should be ashamed of yourself trying to pull that crap.Trump is actually taking Kennedys advice by leaving his private life and doing for His country.

Exactly. That Kennedy quote is the antithesis of what the Democrats are calling for today.
And this from Dwight Eisenhower, when asked if the United States should have a military parade to show off its' might responded:
"Absolutely not. We are the pre-eminent power on Earth. For us to try and imitate what the Soviets are doing in Red Square would make us look weak."--Dwight David Eisenhower.
Now who has more credibility? The man who led the D-day invasion? Or the man who dodged the draft with an ingrown toenail?
President Eisenhower and JFK had military parades. JFK's had missiles rolling down the street.
Faux Left Outrage strikes again.
No one had a military parade on Independence Day. This is our day to celebrate. We don't need a president who seems to think this is his day to celebrate himself. Have you ever been to DC for the fireworks. It is well organized. Trump changing things puts a burden on security. Plus, why do taxpayers have to pay for stroking his ego. Faux outrage, I don't thing so.
