Musk's plan is basically assuming it is a one way trip, i.e. Mars becomes your new home.

Unconventional, certainly.

That's not been part of any SpaceX mission profile I've seen. Care to share?

Not if the goal is to establish a colony on Mars. That would obviously require permanent residents.

Every time he opens his mouth stupid falls out. It would be funny except for that he is supposed to be President.

SpaceX Has a Bold Timeline for Getting to Mars and Starting a Colony

If SpaceX has sent the two cargo ships by this stage, the next step will be the manned mission.
The plan is to send two cargo ships, alongside two crew ships taking the first people to Mars.
They will be tasked with setting up a propellant production plant, combining Martian water,
ice, and carbon dioxide to create methane and liquid oxygen to fuel the ships and come back
home. The humans would be tasked with collecting one tonne of ice every day to fuel the plant.

I cannot believe how obtuse some people are!

It's really very OBVIOUS he said the moon is a part of the MUCH BIGGER things they are doing! ...Not a part of Mars.

...And Trump supporters are supposed to be the stupid ones! Geesh!
Tell me, whose sentence structure did I criticize or question? Whose semantics? Whose writings. Please point out where I say anything about any one of those things?
