Simple question, is it better to pay more in private health care premiums, deductibles and co-pays than paying less than that in taxes?

I’d opt for private care - even at private care prices. Worth every penny to not sit in a waiting list for care.

Where do these numbers come from? Seems like they were made up to insure you got the poll result you want.

I’d rather have private insurance. That way I can make it part of my negotiation with an employer. When’s the last time the government “negotiated” with you on taxes?

Maybe *you* do, but I don’t. I am very satisfied with my private plan. In fact, I’m currently recovering from a knee replacement that has been a very smooth and seamless procedure.

That doesnt make sense. Even the most right wing think tanks acknowledge the reality, that national health care systems are far cheaper than a for-profit system that allows the providers to price gouge sick and desperate people.

So you'd rather be chained to the employer for your family's health care than be free to strike out on your own?

Employer based health care is a chain around the neck of employees, and thats a big reason why wages are stagnant and why corporate America dont want to loose that power over the employees.
