Probably a "good riddance" from the people of Connecticut to a "Welcome" from the destination (probably somewhere in the South, I'm guessing).

Do you think that eventually all remaining gun companies will exit the Northeast?

For the life of me, I can't understand why they would remain in a state with such anti-gun politicians. I understand there is enormous costs associated with moving but I have to believe they would be offset in a fairly reasonable amount of time just in tax savings.

Yes. They'll eventually move to areas where they feel more welcome.

Do remember that the firearm industry is still suffering from "Hillary didn't win" syndrome and with 2020 not looking all that positive for Dems currently, things aren't likely to turn around any time soon. Makes any move far more risky.

Who knows. Is it easier and cheaper to find skilled labor there? Is it easier and cheaper to get raw goods and supplies shipped there? Is it easier and cheaper to sell final product from there to customers?

I assume these aren't answers one can pick from their bag of politically biased opinions on red vs blue states, and requires some actual business acumen.

Well, they'll probably be given some tax breaks and have a lower cost of doing business in Dixie.

Lower cost of doing business isn't always better. Lower cost of labor sometimes results in lower quality of product. Do you want low quality firearms?

They will get millions in tax breaks and pay employees half. Win for the company, hard to say if It is a win for anyone else at this time.

Either way sounds like staying in the North East was the worst option for the company, sensible move for them.
