Governor Abbott (R-TX) has banned any governments from compelling Texans to take any "vaccines" related to the Wuhan virus, (globalist, federal, state or local) and has also banned public or private entities (including corporations and businesses) that receive any sort of government aid or funding "from withholding service or entry to Texans who do not have proof that they received inoculation."

Gov. Greg Abbott Forbids Government ‘Vaccine Passport’ Mandates In Texas Through Executive Order

In addition to blocking the government from compelling Texans to take the COVID-19 vaccine while it is still under an emergency authorization by the Food and Drug Administration, Abbott also forbade any “public or private entity” that receives government funding, such as loans, grants, and contracts, from withholding service or entry to Texans who do not have proof that they received inoculation.

“No consumer may be denied entry to a facility financed in whole or in part by public funds for failure to provide documentation regarding the consumer’s vaccination status for any COVID-19 vaccine,” the order states.
The Texas legislature is currently in session and is likely to take up and pass legislation relating to this and other related issues. Governor DeSantis (R-FL) has already signed a similar executive order in Florida and the Florida legislature is apparently working on legislation to cement that into permanent law as well.

A legal wall is being constructed and the more states that get on board with this, the harder it will be for anything to be imposed out of Washington, without a new law, which would require 60 votes in the US Senate.

Well done, Governor Abbott.

The coercive totalitarian Democrat left will not like it though. I wonder if "60 Minutes" will fabricate a brazenly deceitful smear piece against Governor Abbott the way that they did against Governor DeSantis.

Sounds like he's in agreement with the federal government, per press conference today. None of that is going to happen at a federal level.

Are you suggesting that the current regime occupying the White House is opposed to mandating the use of 'Vaccine passports'?

Of course they will. They, and random people on the left, warned, howled, and screamed that Governor Abbott's decision would bring unconditional, immeasurable, and utter disaster to Texas.

- CA Governor Gavin Newsom said that opening Texas was “absolutely reckless.”

- Vanity Fair: “Republican Governors Celebrate COVID Anniversary With Bold Plan to Kill Another 500,000 Americans.”

- Anthony Fauci the FRAUD: “It just is inexplicable why you would want to pull back now.”

- Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke said it was a “big mistake” and also said “It’s hard to escape the conclusion that it’s also a cult of death.” He accused the governor of “sacrificing the lives of our fellow Texans … for political gain.”

- James Hamblin, a doctor and writer for the Atlantic, said in a Tweet liked by 20K people: “Ending precautions now is like entering the last miles of a marathon and taking off your shoes and eating several hot dogs.”

- Author Kurt Eichenwald said out: “Texas already has FIVE variants that have turned up: Britain, South Africa, Brazil, New York & CA. The NY and CA variants could weaken vaccine effectiveness. And now idiot @GregAbbott_TX throws open the state.” He also referred to Abbott's government as “murderous.”

- Bill Kristol wrote: “Gov. Abbott is going to be responsible for more avoidable COVID hospitalizations and deaths than all the undocumented immigrants coming across the Texas border put together.”

- "Health pundit" Bob Wachter said the decision to open was “unforgivable.”

- Virus guru Michael Osterholm told CNN: “We’re walking into the mouth of the monster. We simply are.”

- Joe Biden famously said that the Texas decision to open reflected “Neanderthal thinking.”

- The chairman of the TX Democratic Party said: “What Abbott is doing is extraordinarily dangerous. This will kill Texans. Our country’s infectious-disease specialists have warned that we should not put our guard down, even as we make progress towards vaccinations. Abbott doesn’t care.”

- Other state Democrats said in a letter that the decision was “premature and harmful.”

- The CDC’s Rochelle Walensky didn’t mince words: “Please hear me clearly: At this level of cases with variants spreading, we stand to completely lose the hard-earned ground we have gained. I am really worried about reports that more states are rolling back the exact public health measures we have recommended to protect people from COVID-19.”

Still waiting to see photographs and videos of mass death in Texas.... I'll wait a long time.

Yes, I am. Read it here yourself:

https://thehill.com/homenews/adminis...cine-passports

Quote:
White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Tuesday ruled out the Biden administration playing any role in a "vaccine passport" system as Republican governors in particular balk at the concept.

"The government is not now, nor will we be supporting a system that requires Americans to carry a credential. There will be no federal vaccinations database and no federal mandate requiring everyone to obtain a single vaccination credential," Psaki told reporters at a briefing.

The White House has been clear that it would defer to private companies if they wanted to implement some type of vaccine passport system in which individuals would have to provide proof that they received one of the coronavirus shots.

"Our interest is very simple from the federal government, which is American's privacy and rights should be protected so that these systems are not used against people unfairly," Psaki said.
So smooth out your feathers and unclutch your pearls.

More than a month has passed since Texas Gov. Greg Abbott shocked the Faucis of the world by scrapping COVID-inspired restrictions on businesses and individuals, including removing the mask mandate. The decisions prompted Dr. Anthony Fauci and legions of public health "experts" to warn about the devastating consequences - thousands of unnecessary deaths would result, they said - however, as the data show, practically every metric has shown that the Lone Star State's outbreak has continued to recede, even as blue states like Michigan are seeing a new surge in infections (believed to be driven by "mutant" strains).

Fauci just came out and said there most likely won't be a fourth wave.
