The problem is that you are making a false, ridiculous assumption, then asking others whether they agree or disagree with your silly presumption. It is inappropriate for a president to engage in "Stalinist rhetoric"- perhaps you should have reminded Obama about that.
Trump is "channeling Stalin" only in your mind, not in reality.
Back in reality, your political ideology comes from the polluted mind of Stalin- political correctness and American liberalism, brought to you by the Frankfurt School.

Libs live by Stalinism:
political correctness
revisionist history
the supremacy of the state over the individual
hatred of the traditional family unit
hatred of the middle class
hatred of the Christian church
opposition to capitalism
Enemy of the People is Stalinist. Should a POTUS use Stalinist language, yes or no?

Per the above exchange - the poster won't answer your question so I will. NO, the POTUS shouldn't be using Stalinist language. The Trump fan cannot bring himself to answer yes or no.
Trump once again ramps up his Stalinist rhetoric against the media.
Apparently, Trump is unhinged that military command is taking counter cyber action against his beloved Putin.
Trump went on a twitter tear last night and sounding like the buffoon he is.
Is it fitting for a POTUS to channel Joseph Stalin? Should we now accept Stalinist rhetoric as a norm from a US president? Or is it any surprise, given Trump love for Russia and autocrats.

The rest are too timid to give a straight answer to the simple question: Should a POTUS engage in Stalinist language?

Agreed, he should change his wording, however, Stalin didn't use the term about the media because the media was controlled by the party in Stalin's USSR.
