No matter who wins, the rich will get richer and everyone else will get poorer.

Both parties are controlled by Big Business via campaign donations. We will continue to have:

1) trade deals that undermine the bargaining power of ordinary Americans.

2) immigration policies that undermine the bargaining power of ordinary Americans.

That’s reality, and the “true believers” in both parties refuse to see it.

Complete destruction of the ACA, for one.

There are still massive tax credits for Solar and stuff....for two. Also many national programs continuing in the Energy Sector.

Note that Coal is having no comeback.

I could go on, but suffice it to say he has accomplished zero through legislation (and that is really the only way sustainable change is made) and there is no POTUS I am aware of that ever got much done in this sense after the first two years. So that die is cast.

Not to suggest he isn't doing massive harm. He is. But it's not long term law or policy based. It's just tweets and threats, etc.

Of course, he not only has failed to provide meaningful legislation for his "bad" things, but also has done the same for good things. That is, he certainly is not showing Americans that their government is honest, decent and ethical. That means the same forces that brought him over the top (that America isn't working) will be in play in 2020. BUT, the voters will certainly know that Trump isn't going to drain the Swamp or get anything done for the "forgotten man".......

Again, no predictions here, but these forces are in play. It takes a LOT for any incumbent POTUS not to be re-elected, so if he is dumped the change is MUCH larger than many imagine.

Only 3 Presidents in history have failed to win a second term. So the "default" should always be that a POTUS would win. The surprise comes if he or she does not.

you guys can't be serious ...is he the best you got? ...Joe Biden?

that's hysterical...he's not even a baby boomer, he's too old to be in that generation.....LMAO

False equivalency is not either policy or truth.

The ACA covered 10's of millions of additional Americans and, if it continued to evolve, would result in upward mobility for many who wouldn't be stuck in their jobs...they could go out and innovate.

Most all of the Energy Efficiency and New Economy stuff has come from the left side of the Isle...if not in Congress, among the populace.

Our air and water will be cleaner.

Education will be furthered.

I could go on......but, no, the Dems are not going to hand out free money so we can stay home and watch Netflix...but they ARE going to give a "hand-up" to tens of millions who the GOP simply cast-off.

Change takes time...especially after 30-40 years of Reaganomics. If the USA doesn't change it is simply going to be on the back burner of history (other than certain regions). What we are doing now isn't working. Americans agree on that (only about 30% think we are headed in the right direction, a tiny percentage think we are moral and ethical, and we all know most people are getting screwed).

Maybe we don't all agree on specific solutions, but most agree there are major problems and that Trump certainly isn't going to fix them with toilet tweetstorms.

If nothing else I would like SOME adults in the room. Just some...would be better than a complete Swamp of self-interest and nepotism.

Interesting....I thought there were like 20 Dems stepping up? Polling on Biden is like polling on Rubio before the Debates......or Christie.

Then again, Biden doesn't have TV Reality Show Cred.....so, in a sense, he can't measure up to the kind of things you may be looking for. I'm sure he trails behind Trump in the ability to make up 7th grade monikers for people.

One of the reasons many follow politics is that you certainly never know what is going to happen. If it's Biden with a great VP choice, that would probably keep many Americans happy. But, all in all, new blood would be more exciting.

Neither you nor I are going to make that pick. Fate will.

Have Americans lost their minds?

Even if putting it in deference to your view of Biden, that's still one step forward toward sanity for the USA, one critical leap in world stability for humanity.

Oh lordy high school play ground name calling? Why so angry? I promise I won't tell you not to be butt hurt if Biden is our next president. I promise I won't call you a snowflake either. Look, I understand that America wanted a change from the status quo swamp in Washington, but you have to be adult enough to admit that the liar in chief made it ten times worse with the "indicted and unindicted felons" (Chris Christie) that swirl around Trump. I think the country deserves better than a crook lowering the bar in the Oval Office, and it's unpatriotic to think less. If it helps to ease your anxiety from being brain washed that all Democrats are commie's please do some research into which party is better for our economy. You find that it's under Democrats that the economy does better. Yep. Fact.

Take a deep breath. We live in a great country and it will still be great under a Democratic president. Start researching outside of your right wing bubble. Try looking at the right wing movement world wide and you will find that it is supported by Putin. His agenda is to destroy Western Democracy and promote his agenda.

Read Newsweek : Every Minister From Austria's Far Right Freedom Party Resigns After Secret Video Involving Fake Russian. There's a passage in there that talks about a niece of Putin that wants to do business with Austria. That same narrative appears in the Mueller report.

Don't you think that Trump and his campaign's over 100 contacts with Russian's is unpatriotic? If you understand Putin's agenda you will understand that all of these contacts are unpatriotic. Read the Mueller report. It reads better than a spy novel.

The didn't come up with Biden, there are like 20 candidates. One of them will become the candidate to run.

Polls are polls, and this was Trump's own team that showed Biden about Trump. I'll take Biden over Bernie. My worst nightmare is a race between Trump and Bernie, the last two people I would want as President.

Worse than the whole Clinton versus Trump.

Are you calling the late John McCain and Jeff Flake unpatriotic, left-wing, and commie? Does not compute.

Three strikes and you're out. Not that you were on my credibility list to start with, mind you.

Pro Tip to you: Commie is obsolete as a slur even by conservative standards - it's so Reagan Era. At least use socialist, if nothing else, if you hope to look at least a little bit with the times.

So anyone who doesn't agree with your political views is an unpatriotic "commie"? I think people who are dedicated to stopping the Trump disaster are infinitely more patriotic that people like you.
