Its easy to lead a poll when you aren't actually in a general election.
You are harmless until you become an actual possibility, then people wake-up.

Indeed.

But it doesn't matter what 'Americans' think, since only 40% of them vote.

What matters is how likely voters think. And 51% of them approve of Trump.
Of course, that is only on Rasmussen, all the others have him lower.

True - sorta like 2018, only possibly a larger effect. I think there was about 5 million more Dem votes.

BUT, some polls are "Generic Ballot" - and those don't have the "popularity contest" of a POTUS election. Congressional Generic Ballots.....

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com...ex_cid=irpromo

That is a 15 percent MORE Americans that are leaning Blue on Generic Congress. (1.15 x 40 = 46)

It means something. No, it's not an accurate prediction for next year or the year after or anything else, but it is a sample of the current situation.

The Chinese have money and they will run the world, while the Russians only want to blow up our government and ruin america. Give how many Chinese tourists come to the US each year and how many Chinese students choose to study in the US, you know deep down inside the Chinese love America, and you can't say that about the Russians. You just can't.

China and the US are a match made in heaven economically while Russia and the US are like a box of dry straw just waiting for a spark. China will only be our enemy if we choose it to be, while russia already is our enemy.

Most all of the Energy Efficiency and New Economy stuff has come from the left side of the Isle...if not in Congress, among the populace.

Our air and water will be cleaner.

Education will be furthered.

I could go on......but, no, the Dems are not going to hand out free money so we can stay home and watch Netflix...but they ARE going to give a "hand-up" to tens of millions who the GOP simply cast-off.

Change takes time...especially after 30-40 years of Reaganomics. If the USA doesn't change it is simply going to be on the back burner of history (other than certain regions). What we are doing now isn't working. Americans agree on that (only about 30% think we are headed in the right direction, a tiny percentage think we are moral and ethical, and we all know most people are getting screwed).

Maybe we don't all agree on specific solutions, but most agree there are major problems and that Trump certainly isn't going to fix them with toilet tweetstorms.

If nothing else I would like SOME adults in the room. Just some...would be better than a complete Swamp of self-interest and nepotism.
Today’s Democrats are Republican-lite. They are on board with “free trade” deals and immigration policies that screw American workers. Even white collar workers are getting screwed these days, thanks to things like outsourcing and H1-B visas. But hey, the Democrats are for gay marriage and transgender bathrooms, so that makes everything ok, right?

I will give the Democrats credit for not cutting taxes on the rich. I will grant that the Democrats are the lesser of the two evils. But I’m tired of having to vote for evil.

When will we have a party that fights for the interests of ordinary American workers?

Joe Biden can't fill a 300 man stadium and chokes repeatedly in front of the 170-some sufferers who had the misfortune to grace his bumbling stumbling performance.

Joe Biden should be the spokesperson for Ginko-Viagra... A drug that helps you remember wht the F you were just talking about.

Running for President is evidently about stocking shelves with spaghetti sauce.

Hickenlooper will win the Democrat nomination because he is the only one of the 20 clowns with a brain cell in their head and he takes his own mom to porno flicks, really disgusting and degrading ones.

What exciting times we live in!

Trump should easily win in ‘20.

If he doesn’t, he should jump off a cliff and end it all.
