Trump is POTUS so he as the powers if the office that come with it.
However, this powers are not unlimited and are circumscribed by the Constitution.
The controversy is what do you do with a POTUS that leaks secrets either unwittingly or willingly to our adversaries?
Whether you choose to admit it or not, Trump has seriously weakened the office of the presidency. He has strengthened not weakened the intelligence establishment. They apparently do not see Trump as trustworthy enough to share intelligence with.
This then is reflected in the power of the office of the presidency as an institution. Once we have a real president again will that respect be retained. We'll see..
You’re just a talking head... get a job in a side show!
since according to libs here, since he is "crazy" and "working for Putin" he should be undermined or have his presidential power limited
or is this a bad precedent to set?
The solution of course is for all the Leftists do the Occupy Twinkle Fingers thing and declare the United States Constitution ..... Null and Void. This is easy-peasy if you are a member of the Total Hysterical Meltdown Resistance crowd -
Believe it or not -- they actually used to teach BASIC Civics in Schools.

There is no controversy, the President is the ultimate arbiter of what is secret or not. Don't like his decisons? Get someone elected you feel will make better decisions. Until then you and anyone in the intelligence agencies will have to live with Trump's decisions.

Evidently the Congress Is no longer in control of declarations of war only the president and i learned back in 2016 that sitting presidents can not appoint judges.
should Trump still be allowed to control the US military? Or have the power to appoint judges?
Why are you so anti-Constitution to even suggest this? The Constitution defines what the President is responsible for. Trump needs to be removed from the White House in order for these powers to be removed from him.
