That's true, but she made it sound like she busing allowed her to escape from a horrible inner city school and that's untrue. When they started busing her school was 41% black and it was not in a ghetto. She also had a very well educated family and probably would have succeeded no matter what school she was in. I wish she had made her case without playing the victim, because she was not one.

I called this for Harris early on and was beginning to have second thoughts about that. But her performance last night gave me confidence that she will ultimately be the Dem nominee, though it could be close with Biden or Warren. The rest will soon be forgotten. Bernie might hang around and whine like he did last time. Don't forget that red states vote in primaries too and Mayor Pete and the Coloradans etc are not going to do well there. Harris will get the women's and black votes in those states.

She's an amazing speaker, and she's very smart. (However, I'd prefer that she finish her Senate term before she runs for President. There's always 2024.)

Trumps immigration policy? What is Trumps immigration policy? Does he have his own personal policy? You mean trying to follow and uphold the immigration laws of the United States of America?

For that matter, the Bible says Thou Shalt Not Kill, but there have been times when, as a country, we have had to send brave men and women into war to do just that in order to protect our nation, our sovereignty, and our way of life. And you and I have been the benefactors of their bravery and sacrifice.

Being a Christian does not mean you have to support lawlessness.

At this point, it looks like Biden and Sanders are going to flounder as they struggle to live up to the hype.

The question is who will "grab the torch."

So far, Warren, Harris, and Buttigieg seem like the prime candidates.

The challenge for Warren is that she is at her best when she sticks to the issues and not when she is sparring with Trump. Unfortunately, she finds herself sparring with Trump too often and, so far, she hasn't won any of those bouts because Trump is just more shameless and plays the "game" better than she does.

Buttigieg seems promising but he doesn't have much in the way of experience or a track record. I think that this would have traditionally hurt him but in the post-Trump era, I think its actually handy since it leaves him with less to be attacked on.

Harris was well spoken but the challenge is that she doesn't have the kind of ground game in place that will prevent post-debate attrition as she struggles to stay in the news.

LOL @ Trump sticking to his word or promises.

The man has constantly lied, obfuscated, and cheated while in the White House.

Having lived in Berkeley during the 1970's I am glad that Kamela Harris has finally called out Berkeley for the racist community that it was during that time.

Unbelievable, I haven't been back to Berkeley since 1979, but I hope it has left its racists attitudes during the 1970's behind.

Ole self-righteous St. Pete was at it again! Personally, I'm not a Christian, but I support deporting everyone who is here illegally. Hate to see what that makes me by judgemental people!

Since I'm a legal immigrant and even though I'm here for approx. two decades, I have not heard the term "bussing".

I have a heard of a "busboy" which I thought was an interesting term to learn what that meant, but that was years ago that I figured that one out.

"Bussing" as Harris mentioned, what does that exactly means.

Is that going on a bus to a different area to go to school or is it just going on a bus to any school?

As a Jewish child, I had to travel by bike 20 min every day, four times a day (no lunch at school as we had morning and afternoon sessions and school closed for lunch time), as the school that was close by our home was a Catholic school where no Jews were accepted at the time.

So if "bussing" means what I think it means, than I can throw my "biking" in the group, and I do not have any issues or mental break down from that time frame. It was the time we lived in and that was the norm.
