Sounds to me like its possible the judge made a complaint about the officer and the PD then released the tape. Do you know where this occurred? I would love to look it up.

The YouTube video claims the following:
Quote:
A Lancaster County PA, Judge Dennis E. Reinaker is pulled over for tailgating and honking at an East Lampter Township officer in an unmarked police car. Dash Cam footage shows the judge using his position of power to get away with out any citation or warning.
No way to know how accurate the abstract is or not. However, if true this looks bad.

Ok I looked it up. There is no reason given for why the tape was publicly released. Very interesting. He certainly tried to threaten the officer not to write a ticket. One vehicle stops we always had the power of discretion. So it was never mandatory that we issue a summons.

The judge OPENLY gave the officer an implied threat..and he jumped out of his car without being instructed to do so.
In other words, he wasn’t complying. But he drove away as if nothing happened.
Justice in the USA is obviously divvied-up, just like in any other country..........rich, connected, famous, you are going to get preferential-treatment. Joe-blow, Trucker-steve.......give them the boots.
..."It's a big phvcking club, and you ain't in it"...the late, great George Carlin..
Yep! The judge should be ashamed of himself for his behavior. However, should a motorist be pulled over for blowing his horn? Was the officer being controlling for doing so? There are many elements here.
