Right. Because that happens soooo frequently here in the US.

Please. You’ve been an American citizen HOW long??? You know better, even if you stubbornly wish to play devil’s advocate here DAILY.

I was watching the parade live.....and when this happened -- there was some panic in the corner of the area where it happened. The announcer came on and mentioned it, things were being looked after. They did not want to panic the crowd.

That was the last you heard about it -- the celebration went on.

So impressed that there can be an incident like this and the police could get control within minutes of the incident without any fatalities. So impressive.

I can't imagine any major city with that many people where one person who is an idiot does something that could have had way more serious consequences and somehow it is contained and resolved within minutes.

AMAZING.

But Toronto is amazing.

1.5million people show up for a rally and of course there is going to be some jerks with guns.

A little jostling, some words, maybe a past argument....there you go.

1.5million people.

Bull. When a shooting happens at a major event in the U.S., it makes the national news. When a shooting happens over a drug deal gone wrong in a bad part of town, it makes the local news. No different than the shootings that happen every night in the bad parts of Toronto or Montreal.

Boston sports fans are insufferable as it is without their bad behavior.

When Cleveland won their NBA championship I joked that rioting caused 50million in improvements to the city.

No fatalities -- one person shot -- not 4 and the other three more of a 'panic' situation.

They had more people with issues from exhaustion, heat, dehydration.

There were so many people in the city celebrating the win that the parade took 5 hours to go 4.5 km. 3 miles. It was crazy.

Toronto is a great sports town that doesn't get great sports team. Loyal, knowledgeable fans........finally a championship (I think it was 1993 the last time the Jays won a World Serires -- and let's not even talk about the Leafs ---- sigh)........
